Who is this course for?For either course, you need to be working within a construction environment and these Apprenticeships are suitable for those working in roles such as Bricklayer or Craft mason.
What will I do on the course?
In both levels of Apprenticeship, you will study a mix of theory (knowledge) and practical (competency) modules. Although you will select modules that are most closely connected to your work activities, you will complete a Technical Certificate and the following typical topics:- Safe working practices
- Information, quantities and communication
- Building methods.

What qualifications do I need?
Level 3 - ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 construction qualification and have some vocational experience.When does the course start?
September 2013, however flexible start times may also be available.Where is it held?
As with all Apprenticeship programmes, you will be employed in a construction environment and be visited regularly in the workplace by your trainer/assessor for practical assessments. In addition, you will attend college on a day release basis – these sessions will take place at Tamworth Campus. Some learning and activities may be completed through our dedicated online portals.How long does the course last?
For both levels, the usual duration for each course is 24 months.What does it cost?
The course is fully funded for those individuals who meet the Apprenticeship funding requirements. For those who do not meet these requirements, individual prices can be provided on request.What could I do after completing the course?
Employment:- Working for local independent companies
- Working for large/national companies
- Self employment.
