Accounting - (Computerised Accounts)

This is a computerised accounting course designed for students who want to extend their knowledge of the Sage accounting software.

Course content

This is a very demanding short course. You will be required to attend all sessions. The course will help you to further your practical knowledge of the Sage accounting software to produce accurate, professional, well presented accounting records and reports. The course includes:

• Interpreting and processing both routine and non-routine transactions
• Production of profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet

Entry Requirements

Potential students must possess a Sage Computerised Accounting Level 2 qualification, a Level 2 manual book-keeping qualification and have a working knowledge of the calculation and application of accruals, prepayments and depreciation. Prior to enrolment all applicants will have a formal interview prior to acceptance onto the course to assess their suitability for the course.

Delivery & Assessment methods

Assessment is via one end of course computer-based examination.
