Art and Design Photography BTEC Level 3 Certificate / Subsidiary Diploma

Level: Level 3

This course allows you to study wet and digital photography. Over the two years you will work through a series of thematic projects that develop skills in using photographic materials techniques and processes. In the second year you are able to specialise in one area of photographic study. All work is linked to understanding how great photographers, past and present have developed their ideas and created their images. The course is completely coursework assessed and ends with a large exhibition open to the public.

Andover College has purpose built photography studios managed by practising photographers. The department invites visiting photographers from industry to engage with students on a regular basis.
