Description

What is the course about?

Students will learn about the variety of spices and their importance in the Indian cooking. Recipes will be provided and students will be cooking independently under the tutor’s guidance with individual support always available.

The content and the outcomes of the course will be discussed with you and may be adapted to meet your needs and those of the group. As a guide, by the end of the course you should be able to:
Identify herbs/spices/ingredients specific to the style of cookery
Practise preparing ingredients properly
Produce authentic food including curries, rice, vegetables and Indian snacks
Have an increased awareness of the nutritional value of ingredients

What is the course about?
