Opportunity will be given for you to reflect on current experience and share best practice with peers on the course. You will be introduced to theories and concepts and apply these to the workplace. The Foundation Degree operates within an inclusive and diverse framework and these values will underpin your practice.

How Will I Be Assessed?

Assessment is through a variety of methods including essays, observations and role-plays.

Entry Requirements

You must be working with children or young people for a minimum of six hours per week and be able to demonstrate an ability to study at Level 4.

Additional Information

You will spend 7 hours per week at college.

Progression

Once you have successfully completed this course you can top-up to a full honours degree with Buckinghamshire New University by undertaking its Professional Studies course.
