This course will provide you with the basics that you need to know about generic health and safety. People being hurt in the workplace or becoming ill through work is not a pleasant subject to think about. However, the reality is that over 200 people a year lose their lives at work in Britain. In addition, approximately 150 000 non-fatal injuries are reported each year, and an estimated 2 million suffer from ill health caused or made worse by work.
