This is Level 1 in the City & Guilds welding skills range of courses. The welding processes available are manual, metal, arc, oxy, acetylene, tungsten, inert gas and metal inert gas.
This award helps you to gain welding skills and knowledge to a level that will enable you to complete simple welded joints in non-complex positions.
Learning is through practical and theoretical activities.
You gain basic welding skills.
There are no entry requirements
You could move on to our Level 2 welding skills course.
