Engineering Motorsport Level 3 (90 Credit) Diploma
Get the specialist skills you need to build a career in the motorsports industry and train at our specialist engineering campus in Bicester. This course is the first year of the two-year extended diploma and gives you the Technical Certificate of the Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, which is equivalent to one A-level.

Assignments give you the opportunity to prepare written work based
on your own observations (e.g. describe health and safety
procedures).
Additional assessment may be carried out by tutor observation
and/or witness statements. Assessment of this course will be taught
mainly within the context of motorsport and engineering.
You gain knowledge of motorsports industry processes, develop your personal skills and build your self confidence.
Applicants for a level 3 programme will normally have:
- at least four GCSEs at grade C or above (including some subjects
related to the proposed area of study) and/or a completed level 2
award
- the willingness to study for an additional level 2 qualification
in English and/or maths

Applicants will be invited to attend an interview and complete an
internal assessment. All students will have their literacy and
numeracy needs supported within the programme.
Successful completion gives you the chance to progress to the BTEC National Diploma course. Alternatively you could progress to the second year of an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Motorsport upon finding employment in the industry.
Your learning and training takes place at our specialist motorsports engineering campus in Bicester. You will have a varied curriculum, supported by a number of motorsport/engineering-related visits and a team building event.
