This product does not have fixed starting dates and/or places.
Description
This course is ideal for you if you wish to manufacture small parts using our extensive machine shop and hand fitting area.
The course will cover:
- Milling
- Turning
- Hand fitting
- Finishing methods
- Basic design
Learning will be of a practical nature based in a workshop. Demonstration will be followed by application with 1:1 support on hand.
You will develop your model making skills, from design to finishing
An eagerness to develop new engineering skills and the ability to adhere to health and safety policies.
Use your skills to develop your hobby or interest.
A basic knowledge of milling and turning would be advantageous.
