Description

This course is for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities who want to develop employability skills with a view to preparing for work.

It helps you to develop your communication, interview, CV writing, problem solving, teamwork and decision-making skills, and build practical work experience through our department shops.

You wil develop your English and maths skills through modules in customer service, presentation skills, health and safety at work and basic ICT.

Learning is through practical activities including group projects and external visits in the local community.

Assessment is via a portfolio of evidence, which will help to meet the requirements of the accrediting body…

The only entry requirement is that you have a successful interview with a member of the course team in order to ensure that we can fully meet your needs.
