Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. Students should have completed AS Maths at Barnet College, although students from other institutions will be considered. What qualifications or experience do I need ? 2 AS Levels at grades A-D including this subject. E grades will be considered on an individual basis. GCSE Maths grade B or above. What will I study ? How will I be assessed ? Each unit will be assessed with a 90 minute exam. What qualifications could I achieve ? On successful completion of this subject, you will gain an A Level certificate in Mathematics. What can the course lead to ? On successful completion of this course, you may progress to a university course of your choosing according to the subjects and grades that you have achieved. How do I join the course ? You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment. Will I need an interview ? Yes, before you can enrol. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Yes, students are expected to buy their own textbooks, scientific calculator (not graphical) and other maths equipment.
