Who is this course for? Parents and volunteers wishing to participate in the provision made by early years environments, such as pre-school. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Learners should be at least 16 years of age. Literacy level E3. What will I study ? The programme of study is 3 hours a week in college for 18 weeks. It is recommended that students are also volunteering in an early years setting. The course will cover two Mandatory Units: The value of play for babies and young children Management and organisation in an early years setting plus one Optional Unit. How will I be assessed ?
