Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS)
This course is part of the new framework of qualifications for people teaching in the post-compulsory sector. It is designed for people who are teaching in post-compulsory education in a limited role, such as facilitator, one-to-one, delivering prepared materials and single subject level. It is also appropriate for those who are teaching or training in the workplace. “Survival skills” including lesson preparation, course planning, classroom management and teaching strategies are all covered. This course leads to Associate Teacher Status (ATS).

Entry Requirements
It is essential that students have sound communication skills and can provide evidence of having a minimum of Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy skills. An Award in Preparing to Teach (PTLLS) will provide credits for this qualification.
