This course is the introduction to the suite of NPTC Certificate of Competence chainsaw qualifications.
Day Mon-Wed Dates and VenuesCourse runs every month, please call for dates.
Times 0900-1700 Cost £395.00 Course Duration: 3 days Entry RequirementsApplicants must be aged 16 or over.
What You Will Study- Basic use and maintenance of the chainsaw
- Current health and safety legislation and safety clothing (PPE) guidance
- Fuel mixtures and lubricants
- Power unit, safety features, recoil starter
- Chain identification, bar maintenance, sharpening
- Hot & cold start
- Chain saw handling and cutting techniques
