CMI Level 4 Diploma in Management and Leadership (QCF)
The Level 4 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed to develop personal management capabilities, make effective use of information in decision-making, operations and the development of the skills in managing people.
These qualifications are derived from the National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership and are accredited on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The qualifications follow the new Award, Certificate, Diploma format where:
- Award is a concise qualification aimed at developing basis skills and knowledge at this level
- Certificate builds and broadens on the areas covered in the Award
- Diploma develops a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge required at this level
Award To achieve a CMI Level 4 Award in Management
and Leadership; you need to successfully complete at least one unit
to a minimum of 6 credits.
Certificate To achieve a CMI Level 4 Certificate
in Management and Leadership you need to successfully complete any
combination of units to a minimum of 13 credits.
Diploma To achieve a CMI Level 4 Diploma in
Management and Leadership, you need to complete all core units
(Group A) and three optional units (Group B) to a total of at least
46 credits.
Entry requirements
Level 3 or equivalent
English Language Requirement
If your native language is not English, you will have to show us a
Certificate in English or prove your English language skills on the
interview. You must ensure that you are competent in English at a
minimum CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference ) Level B1 but
our preferred qualification for this course is IELTS (minimum score
4.5).
Duration
12 Months
Progression Opportunities
On successful completion of a Level 4 qualification in Management
and Leadership, a number of progression opportunities become
available:
- Progress to other qualifications at the same level (e.g. from Level 4 Award to Level 4 Certificate etc).
- Progress to other qualifications at the next level (e.g. from Level 4 Certificate to Level 5 or 6 Certificate).
Tuition Fees:
UK & European Students: £ 3200 per year
Overseas Students: £ 3800 per year
