Course content
This unit/qualification is intended for candidates who wish to develop their knowledge of substance misuse in order to:
- raise awareness of substance misuse and its consequences
- improve the knowledge, awareness, understanding and effectiveness of those currently working in the field of substance misuse, supporting people involved in substance misuse, or working to prevent substance misuse

Entry requirements
Please note this course is suitable for parents/guardians concerned about Substance Misuse, Counsellors looking to train in the field of Substance Addiction, or indeed for those who may have an addiction who want to seek advice.
All prospective students will be required to attend an interview.
Additional course costs
A registration fee of £44 is also payable.
Progression
CPCAB Level 4 Certificate Therapeutic Counselling.
Dates and times
This course runs twice a year. The duration of this course is 10 weeks.
