Teaching and assessment
Assessment methods are varied and include practical work, assignments, essays, presentations, short tests and examinations. Credits can be awarded for activities carried out at the workplace as well as at the College.
Entry requirements
160 UCAS points in a relevant subject area and GCSE A*- C in English and Maths.
Mature applicants without formal or traditional entry qualifications may be admitted as a result of their life and/or work experience.
Progression
The Foundation Degree has been designed in conjunction with the University of Greenwich to allow graduates who meet the required academic standard direct entry onto the final year of the following BSc Honours degree programmes offered at the Medway School of Engineering:
- BSc (Hons) Information Communication Technology
- BSc (Hons) Computer Systems and Software Engineering
Dates and times
It is anticipated that students will achieve this qualification after two years of full-time study.
