Description
Full TimeThis course is made up of a variety of Art & Design units
and you will develop skills through a variety of activities to
enable you to achieve. You will experience working in both 2D and
3D, such as drawing, photography, three dimensional design,
printmaking, ceramics and textiles. There will be opportunities to
work with practising artist, designers and craftspeople. You will
participate in cultural and contextual activities and educational
visits to support your studies.
Your learning programme will be made up of a number of qualifications including Essential and Wider Skills.

What qualifications you need
There are no formal entry requirements for entry level study, but applicants should show an aptitude and commitment towards completing a course of study in Art and Design.
Where to next
If you want to continue and progress with your studies you can take a Level 2 qualification in a similar subject such as Art & Design or Creative Media which will also prepare you for employment in the Creative Industries.
