The Apprenticeship in Clinical Healthcare Support offers the opportunity for those working in the health sector to gain a nationally recognised qualification demonstrating their knowledge and competence. Learners could be working in a variety of health care settings such as a GP practice, General hospital setting, Rehabilitation unit or supporting Allied Health Professionals in their role. Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support, Award in Employment Responsibilities and Right and Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills. Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 2. How will I be Taught? One to one with an assessor who will visit you regularly in the clincial setting. Resources and course materials will be provided where appropriate. Group and/or one to one support from a functional skills tutor if required. How will I be Assessed? Competence is demonstrated through the completion of a portfolio of evidence using written and oral evidence, observation in the workplace, recognition of prior learning & work products.
