This course covers a range of units including: Engine lubrication, Engine cooling, Fuel and exhaust systems, Spark ignition systems, Electrical systems, Braking systems, Transmission systems, Steering & suspension systems, Wheel & tyre systems, Engine power units & operating principles. To complete the course and achieve a certificate, all practical tasks must be completed. These units will include related Health & Safety issues. At the end of the course you will have the opportunity to modify a vehicle over 4 weeks and when completed,show it off to the campus. The development of your personalised enterprise passport and enrichment activities fully enhance this course. How will I be Taught? The course is delivered over 2-Days Practical & ½-Day Theory (Including Functional Skills & Tutorials) How will I be Assessed? The course is broken down in 10 units where students have both a practical and written assessments. The full assessment methods will be discussed during interview.
