The access to Higher Education combined studies course, is a one year full time course. It is desgned to prepare students for entryto university where certain degree courses can be studied. Students are therefore advised to contact universities prior to applying, to check that they will be considored for thier chosen degree if they pass the course. The certificate is only valid to some universities and expires after three years. All students attend weekly tutorials which are designed assist with study skills, confidence building and applying for university.Key Areas

- Some students will also have the oppurtunity to study GCSE Maths, depending on how well they progress through the course.

Students who acheive this qualification progress onto university. The course is particularly suitable for degrees, including Nursing and other Health professions, Midwifery, Social Work, Teaching, Law, Business and psychology.Entry requirements
You will need to pass a initial assessments in English and Maths at Level 2. You also need to have a substantial work experience in an area related to your chosen career.Area's of study
