Learning in our well-equipped and professional recording studios and using the latest technologies currently available including an Apple Mac based sequencing suite and digital signal processing, the course will prepare you practically, theoretically and creatively to work with sound. A lot of your work will be digital, and you will become efficient in working with industry used software. You will become experienced in sound recording techniques, including multi-tracking techniques, the use of microphones, mixing recorded tracks and completing a stereo master recording. You will explore computer music systems and how to plan a recording session. Taught by tutors who are passionate about music and have worked in the industry as music technologists, you will get first hand advice and information about working in the music industry and what career options are available to you.
