About This Course:This course is an introduction to photography and a preparation course for entry to NC/NQ-level photography courses.

What You Study:Using Digital SLR cameras, indoor and outdoor, you’ll learn the basics of camera controls, composition and image capture. Although the focus is on digital photography, you may have the opportunity in this class to use film cameras and work in a traditional darkroom to produce black and white prints.
After The Course:This course leads onto courses such as the NC Photography, Foundation Creative Crafts & Photography and NC Creative Printmaking with Photography.
