About This Course:You will study a combination of practical and theoretical units with a particular focus on conservation and restoration within the Construction Industry. The course will deliver a National Qualification in Construction. You will also have the opportunity to develop transferable skills which are important if you want to gain employment within the Construction Industry.
The National Qualification has been designed to provide a solid knowledge base for those working or seeking work in Conservation and Restoration projects.

- You should be interested in Construction and be able to demonstrate this both in the application process and the pre-entry guidance sessions which you will be required to attend.
More Information
What You Study:Some of the subjects you’ll study include: Stonemasonry, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery and Lime Technology. You will also study Communication, Numeracy, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
After The Course:Career
On successful completion of the course you will be in a better position to find employment within the Construction Industry.
Continuing study
There may also be the opportunity to progress onto other National Certificate (NC) and Higher National Certificate (HNC) courses.
How Long:One year, starting in August.
