About This Course:The course has two main aims - to equip you with sound communication skills, and to develop your awareness of topical social issues. These will enhance your prospects of employment in many sectors – administrative, business and local authority.
Successfully completing the course also allows you to study further at HNC level. Your progress will be assessed continuously throughout the course.
What You Need:- Three or more relevant Standard Grade passes, including English, at Grade 3 or above
- And/or an appropriate group of SQA units at Intermediate 2 level

What You Study:Some of the subjects you’ll study include: Communication, Psychology: Understanding the Individual, Psychology: Investigating Behaviour, Micro Economics, UK and International Economics, Politics, History, and Application of Maths.
After The Course:Continuing study
On successful completion and satisfactory references from your lecturers, you can apply for various HNC courses at the college, including Social Sciences.
