Domestic Gas CPA1 - assessment only
Areas of study include the updates from all relevant codes of practice i.e gas safety, building, IEE and water regulations. The course is also designed to have time for revision in the field of gas operation, for example flues ventilation.
The course is divided into two areas - technical input and revision practical assessments.
You learn basic domestic gas theory and current statutory regulation to gas safety. Your practical training and assessments include:
Combustion
Flues
Ventilation
Regulations
Procedures for unsafe situations
Successful students will be allowed to carry out work on central heating boilers with this qualification.
