Enjoy an informal introduction to the world of wine - an ever-changing subject - with our new wine appreciation course.
You learn about the different grape varieties used in wine making and wine-producing countries. You also learn how to taste wines and describe the characteristics of each wine.
No formal assessment.
Learning is by using your senses of sight smell and taste plus discussion blind tasting and other fun sessions.
You gain a basic understanding of grape varieties, wine-producing countries and the terminology used in describing wine. At the end of the course you receive a College certificate.
