Description
This is a demanding but enjoyable course which allows plenty of scope for discussions and developing your own ideas. It will appeal to you if you enjoy reading books, discussing them with others and writing essays based on your responses to them. You will closely study a wide range of novels, plays and poetry from Shakespeare to the present day. You will develop skills in independent reading and research whilst learning to make connections with other unseen poetry or prose texts.
