Description
The Level 2 Award in Supporting Adults and Young People in
Essential Skills enables the learner to develop the skills to
engage and support adults and young people with communication,
numeracy, or ESOL needs. It looks at the barriers to education and
how learners are assessed and signposted to the most appropriate
provision. Candidates will also explore the skills needed to
provide the best support within the classroom, or other learning
environment, according to current models of good practice.
The qualification consists of 5 units, 2 of which are mandatory and
3 are optional according to the subject pathway chosen.
