Business Level 2

This course is for students who are interested in working in business and would like to understand how a business is created and run. You will learn how to think like an entrepreneur and discover how to create business plans and work with other people to enjoy experiencing time working in a real business. This will include an introduction to: Marketing Finance Working with people in teams Developing business ideas

What else do I need to know? You will also be encouraged to take part in College promotional events such as open evenings where you will be able to put into practice the skills learnt on the course. If you are over 19 years should contact Student Services to find out about ways to pay your fees or any fee waivers that may be applicable Materials fees are charged to cover the cost of a USB pen and supporting materials.

What do I need to get onto the course? Ideally you will have 3 GCSE’s grade A* - D which must include maths or English or have completed a relevant Level 1 qualification or equivalent.

Where can I go after the course? If you achieve the Level 2 Diploma at Distinction or Merit and have achieved functional skills English and maths level 2 (or equivalent GCSE A-C in maths and English) you can progress on to the Level 3 Diploma in in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.
