Why choose Glyndŵr University?
Through engaging with many local businesses that employ trainee accountants, we have recognised the gap in ACCA training provision within North East Wales. We have addressed this by putting in place a small but expert team to deliver ACCA at Glyndŵr University. All of our tutors have considerable industrial and professional experience, which means you can be sure that the teaching delivery will be of the very highest quality.
How does it work?
To qualify as an ACCA qualified accountant, each student must meet the following criteria:
- Examinations – a minimum of 5 or 14 exams (nine are eligible for exemption*)
- Experience – a record of 36 months experience in a relevant role
- Ethics – successful completion of the Professional Ethics module
*Nine of the exams which are part of the qualification will not need to be taken if the student has other relevant qualifications at the same level.
Course Length
Our classes will be delivered over 2 hours across 10 weeks. They will take place in the afternoon at time slots of either 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm or 5pm-7pm. We will endeavour to group module classes in order to maximise the chance that students can complete all of their studies in one day.
