Career opportunities
The course provides a good basis for careers in occupational and environmental health. It provides a solid foundation if you are already working in risk management, health protection, health promotion or policy development and evaluation. The course prepares you for career development towards senior and managerial positions in the occupational and environmental health sector. There are employment opportunities in government and non-governmental organisations (NGO), as well as other health-related agencies.
A career in research or practice in environmental health in a variety of public and international settings is another possibility.

Entry requirements
If you are currently working, or already have qualifications, in this field and would like to further your academic studies, this course is aimed at you. It will develop your knowledge in this area as well as your vocational and leadership skills. You are ideally suited if you currently work in the following organisations: local authorities; environmental health departments; environmental consultancies; occupational health departments; health and safety companies; or if you are an undergraduate of the subject.
