Students will study the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Year 1 (1 A level) and upon successful completion of this will progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Diploma. In addition to the Level 3 qualifications students will also study qualifications in finance. In the first year students will study the IFS Certificate in Financial Studies and if successful will progress to the IFS Diploma in Financial studies in year 2. In year 2 students will also get the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained from their Level 3 studies into practice by taking part in the Young Enterprise Programme.

Progression
The Diploma is equivalent to 2 A-Levels, allowing you to progress on to higher level qualifications such as a degree or professional qualification. It can also act as an ideal preparation for a range of jobs in the public or private sectors. Possible areas of work include accountancy, financial services, information technology, manufacturing, personnel, public administration and sales.
Additional Information
This course will be delivered in the first year as a one year Subsidiary Diploma and if relevant grades are met learners will continue onto the Level 3 Diploma in their second year.
