Suitable For
Learners with complex needs who are working within Entry Level 1. This course is aimed at students to improve their social and practical skills in a range of relevant contexts, to increase their confidence and self esteem thus developing their self - determination and greater personal autonomy.
Course Content
The course includes the following elements:
- Developing skills for daily living - shopping, cooking
- Out in the Community - visits, using local restaurant, cafe, library, leisure etc
- Projects - fundraising event/enterprise
- Keeping fit and healthy
Assessment Method
Students are assessed continuously through observations, questions and answers and reviewed each term.

Additional Information
A fee will be required each week to cover the cost of food for the Cookery sessions. Some additional charges may be made for the Community Facilities group depending on activities.
