This module provides a historical, philosophical and sociological background to the professions and analyses the issues raised for all professional, inter-professional and trans-professional activities in a period where there is increasing emphasis on education and on accountability. higher education and the workplace. It does not presuppose any
prior specialist knowledge. This module is available as a short
course.
