The topics in this module reflect the issues and concerns that affect educators today. This module was originally part of the MA in Geography Education but has now been opened up to other students in the GEMS Cluster (Geography Enterprise, Mathematics and Science). In the past, topics have included citizenship education, information technology, subject leadership, enhancing learning and achievement, sustainable futures, responses to government policies and initiatives. Not all topics are necessarily addressed in any one year and there is considerable scope for students to shape the content.
