It will explore the roles and responsibilities of the ICT subject leader in the primary school by considering the impact of ICT on teaching and learning through recent research. Participants will devise a framework for ICT in their own schools, developing a curriculum map which shows progression through the school across all aspects of the subject and identify where ICT can be used to support and enhance attainment in other subjects and numeracy and literacy. Personal skills in ICT will be enhanced and through developing a monitoring and assessment framework for their school which is manageable, participants will further develop their understanding of the pedagogical nature of learning with ICT.
