Each year, people die or are seriously injured as a result of fire in the workplace. Fire can cost businesses vast amounts of money, sometimes causing them to close permanently. This course allows candidates to develop their basic fires safety awareness.
Qualification
CIEH Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles
Course Content
Develop basic fire safety awareness in order to assist employers by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace (as fire wardens/marshals, stewards, etc.).
Topics covered are:
- Understanding fire risk
- Fire risk controls
- Pronciples and practice of fire safety
- The role of the fire warden.
