About this course
The aim of this course is to help you to begin to communicate in English with confidence. You will do speaking and writing activities and learn basic grammar and vocabulary.
We believe in the value of continuous assessment. Every week your teacher will observe you and give you feedback on your progress. Your teacher will also ask you to complete written work for which you will get a grade and comments on how to improve. You will also be graded on your speaking.

Content
During the course you will develop your speaking, listening,
reading and writing.
Regular speaking tasks will give you practice talking about
different topics.
Our listening material consists of short extracts, mini-dialogues
and longer texts to help you improve in this area.
A wide range of reading material including stories,
factual/scientific texts, quizzes and e-mails develop reading
skills in a number of different ways.
Your writing skills will also be developed through regular writing
sections including e-mails and letters.
