The CIMA professional qualification is for anyone with the drive and desire to succeed in business. All one needs is competence in mathematics and the English language.
CIMA qualifications are open to everyone, but your entry level will depend on your previous experience. The syllabus builds step-by-step, and you will develop your knowledge and skills as you progress through the qualification.
Course Structure
The Professional Qualification encourages step by step development of finance and business knowledge and the skills required by today’s businesses.
The four levels of the qualification are split into three ‘pillars’. The pillars are designed to cover a range of business areas, not just finance. The levels encourage progressive, constant development of knowledge, ensuring your employees have exactly the skills you need.
Operational Level – (Award : Diploma in Business Accounting)
- E 1 Enterprise Operations
- P 1 Performance Operations
- F 1 Financial Operations
Management Level - (Award : Adv. Diploma in Business Accounting)
- E 2 Enterprise Management
- P 2 Performance Management
- F 2 Financial Management
Strategic Level – (Award: Passed Finalist)
- E 3 Enterprise Strategy
- P 3 Performance Strategy
- F 3 Financial Strategy
Computer Based Assessment
Computer based assessment (CBA) is the method used for taking the five CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting level exams.
Exams can be taken at any time, allowing students to progress through the certificate level at their own pace.
CIMA Qualification levels (Progression towards CIMA Qualification)
The levels of the professional qualification are: operational (E1, F1 and P1), Management (E2, F2 and P2), Strategic (E3, F3 and P3) and the Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting (T4).
