Description
This course consists of the following:
- Speaking and listening effectively
- How to use standard English
- How to develop reading and writing skills
- Responding to literature and non-fiction texts drawn from English and other cultures
All students must sit an assessment test and have ONE of the following:
- English Language GCSE Grade D or above
- Adult Literacy Level 2
Certificates of previous qualifications are required
Students who have achieved below these grades are advised to study Adult Literacy level 1/2
