Description
The course consists of the following:
- Exploring retail
- Exploring retail channels
- Sourcing and buying for product ranges of retail business
- Exploring the retail supply chain
- Planning the operation of retail outlets
- Stock control in retail business
- Selling in retail business
- Retail theatre
Plus students will attend a work placement arranged by the college.
Students must have all of the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English & Maths or equivalent - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
Adults 19+ who have industry experience BUT do not have the necessary qualifications can be invited in for interview.
