Description
This course consists of the following units and is the direct replacement for the A1 Award:
- Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
- Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment
This course is aimed at all persons involved with assessment using NVQ or equivalent workbased standards.
All students must be aged 19+ have:
- A minimum of 2 NVQ (or similar qualification with the purpose D1: assess competence in the workplace) candidates to assess
- An identified internal verifier prior to enrolment, this person must be competent in the NVQ area and hold the V1, D34 or IQA award
