Students must have ALL of the following:

  • Aged 19 years and above
  • Candidates must be working with children and young people aged 0 - 16 years for a minimum of 12 hours per week in a professional setting or environment in a senior, supervisory or independent role/unsupervised role. For example, Health Visitors Assistant, Sure Start Centre, Nursery Nurse, Foster Carers, Residential Childcare, Self-employed Childminders or Early Years Practitioner (or working towards)
  • Satisfactory references
  • An enhanced CRB is required
