This course consists of the following:
There are 11 mandatory units which will include:
- Understand child & young person development
- Understand how to safeguard the wellbeing of children & young people
- Communication and professional relationships with children & young people
- Promote children and young people's positive behaviour
- Supervise whole class learning activities
- Support children & young people's health & safety
- Team working
This course is suitable for anyone who is employed to supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short term absence. Applicants must have English & Maths at level 2, or be willing to work towards them.
