This course consists of the following:
- Equality, diversity and rights in care work
- Communication and supportive skills for care work
- Research for care
- Applying sociology
- Vocational practice
- Protecting self and others
- Applying psychology
- Personal and professional development
Optional units which may include:
- Complimentary therapies
- Promoting health and creative activities
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including English & Maths
- Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, plus GCSE English & Maths at grades A*-C
- Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
You must have CRB disclosure.
