Is it for me?
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a programme of experiences you choose to participate in rather than a course. It includes four sections for Silver and five for Gold. If you are a very busy and active person you may well be doing all you need to, and just need to register and carry on. Some students will be supported to find new things to do for each section.

· Expedition - develop the skills, plan and carry out a challenging expedition

· Physical Recreation - you also need to be doing some exercise at least once a week
Entry Requirements:
None, but Duke of Edinburgh Bronze would be useful. Enthusiasm and motivation are also needed.

Progression:
Gold Award is the top award and will need to be completed by the age of 25.
