Acting & Theatre Performance NC SCQF Level 6

Are you thinking about a career in the performing arts industry? Whether you're into acting, directing or devising your own scenes then NC Acting and Theatre Performance is the course for you.

You will receive high quality tuition and have the opportunity to perform in our studio theatre. In addition there are lots of opportunities to take part in collaborative projects and to perform live in the community.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This course is suitable for those who have achieved 3 passes at National 5 (or similar) or have equivalent prior experience. All applicants will be invited to an informal interview and audition.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

This course is suited to motivated, self-disciplined and committed people with a keen and realistic interest in developing their understanding of drama and theatre and their personal and social skills.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

Assessment is achieved through written and practical assignments, classroom based assessments - open/closed book and performance.

Students can progress to HND Acting & Performance on successful completion of this course
