CQI Diploma in Quality Management: Management System Model: Unit 502

Unit 502 - Management system models Level 5 (assignment)

The Diploma in quality develops an understanding of management principles, disciplines and techniques which are necessary to control a business or other organisation in order to produce a product or service of conforming quality.

To be able to apply quality management methods to all activities within the business or organisation.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

Each unit will be assessed by either completing an assignment (tutor marked and verified by CQI Exam Board) or undertaking an examination. Please see individual unit descriptor for method of assessment.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Ideally you should have a CQI Certificate in Quality or equivalent, as well as a good standard of Maths and English (GCSE, standard grade Maths and English or equivalent are advisable). You should also be currently working in a quality role or have access to work/liaise with your quality department.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The Diploma in Quality Management consists of 9 Core Units which all must be completed successfully to achieve the Diploma in Quality Management:

Unit 503 - Monitoring and measuring for quality Level 5 (Assignment)

Unit 504 - Quality Management Level 5 (Exam)

Unit 505 - Using quality to improve business performance Level 5 (assignment)

Unit 306 - Management systems audit Level 3 (Exam)

Unit 507 - Quality related legislation and regulation Level 5 (Assignment)

Unit 508 - Quality planning in the product life cycle Level 5 (Assignment)

Unit 512 - Business research Level 5 (Project)
