Description
The new National Certificate Course in Photography offers the learner an introduction to the creative and technical aspects of photography. The learner will have the opportunity to create a portfolio of work appropriate for application to our two year HND in Photography. This National Certificate Course in Photography is at SCQF Level 6.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Normally applicants should have a minimum of four Standard Grade, Intermediate 2 or Nation 5 passes (or equivalent), relevant work experience or successful completion of a relevant course at introductory level.

It is also suitable for those who wish to prepare themselves for initial entry to employment within the photo-imaging sector.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Assessment is undertaken on a continuous basis throughout the course.
PROGRESSION ROUTES / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students may progress to the HND Photography course. Successful completion of this advanced level course may lead to a university or alternatively a career as a photographer.
